After graduating from Western Washington University, I moved back to my hometown to start my DREAM senior photography business. I’ve always known I wanted to work with high school seniors and college grads. There’s something so special about this chapter of life. It's full of growth, excitement, and new beginnings. I feel so lucky to help capture that energy and celebrate your achievements in a way that’s authentic and fun.

My love for photography began in 7th grade. Back in middle school, I brought my small red Nikon Coolpix camera with me every single day to capture all of my favorite memories. As I moved into high school, I started learning how to use professional cameras and began taking senior photos for my friends — and that’s when the dream really blossomed.

When I left for college my dream quickly faded. To be honest, I forgot about my passion. For 4.5 years, I poured all of my time and energy into earning a bachelor’s degree in Family and Community Engaged Teaching, with minors in Education & Social Justice and Sociology. My goal was to become a high school social studies teacher.

During that time, I grew in so many ways. I reconnected with my Armenian roots and found my family living in Armenia! I also discovered my deep love for working alongside youth and gained a broader perspective on the world around me. For that reason, I’ll always be thankful for my educational journey because I embraced new version of myself.

If you were to ask me, "Do you regret waiting to start your senior photography business?" my answer would be no. Why? Because, I truly believe everything happens for a reason. I needed those years to grow, reflect, reconnect, and explore other passions that shaped me into the woman I am today. Without those lived experiences, I wouldn’t be the confident, ambitious, and culturally aware senior photographer business owner I am now.
