Say hello to Bella, a Class of 2024 senior from Mount Rainer High School in Des Moines, Washington. When Bella reached out to me to book her senior session, she asked for a location that was near a lighthouse. Since, I'm a senior photographer based in the Federal Way area, my first thought was Browns Point Lighthouse Park located in Browns Point, Washington (near Tacoma). This location has everything that you need for a perfect senior photoshoot in the Pacific Northwest. From gorgeous views of the Puget Sound, a picket white fence, and flowers everywhere!
I enjoyed every single minute that I was able to spend with Bella. Throughout her senior session I got to learn more about her story and personality. She is beyond sweet, kind, caring, and goes with the flow. After graduating from high school, she plans to finish her AA at Highline Community College and transfer to Washington State University to pursue a degree in nursing to specialize in labor and delivery. Isn't that AMAZING?! Her heart is filled with so much love!
As a senior photographer, it is my top priority to take pictures of my seniors that show their true selves. This is why I create a senior photoshoot experience for my seniors to have a safe space for them to feel loved, celebrated, and beautiful. I always value spending extra time with my seniors so they can feel comfortable to be the most authentic version of themselves, which allows me to build a real relationship with them and capture their personality in their senior pictures. Bella's energy radiated throughout the whole session and you can see it in her senior pictures! It was truly so much fun to edit her high school graduation pictures and I was extremely excited to them to her.
