Say hello to Lily! A Class of 2025 senior from Lake Washington High School. When Lily told me she wanted a location with tall grass and farmer core vibes, I instantly thought of Fort Steilacoom Park in Tacoma, Washington. This place has tall grass fields, red barns, and a gorgeous lake. She traveled over an hour away to take her senior photos with me and I sit in so much gratitude that she chose me as a senior photographer because I enjoyed every single minute that I got to spend with her!
Honoring loved ones in your senior photos:
A few days before her senior photoshoot, her beloved grandma passed away. Lily reached out to me and asked if we could incorporate a necklace that her grandma gave her to honor her memory. I immediately responded and said yes!! I thought of a few ways we could take photos of the necklace, so Lily wore the necklace and we took photos of the necklace wrapped around a bouquet of flowers for detailed shots. It was such an intimate and sentimental experience honoring her grandmas memory and taking photos that she will treasure forever.
Golden Hours Senior Photos:
Lily’s senior session took place in the middle of August on a warm and sunny day in Tacoma, Washington. We were very fortunate to have sunlight throughout her whole senior photoshoot. The sun provided the most gorgeous warm and golden hues in the fields of tall grass. I was able to take a few photos of Lily in the direct sunlight which was so fun! And let me tell y’all something…golden hour at Fort Steilacoom Park is EVERYTHING! As the sun was setting, we walked over to the lake and took the most stunning golden hour senior photos ever!
