Introducing Grace! A recent Valedictorian graduate from Federal Way High School. Grace reached out to book her senior session with me after receiving a referral from her childhood best friend. I was ecstatic to take Grace's graduation pictures because I also graduated from Federal Way High School back in 2016. While I LOVE all of my seniors regardless of what school they attend, I have to admit it always feels extremely special to take a fellow Eagle senior pictures!

Grace expressed she wanted a photoshoot location that had flowers for her background, so I decided Dumas Bay Centre would be a perfect spot because there were so many pink and purple rhododendron bushes in bloom. She also wanted to incorporate a few things into her graduation session including, hydrangea flowers and two of her favorite books. I love it when my seniors bring personal items because it shows their true personality in their senior photos.

As the sun began to set, a warm cast of golden hues covered Dumas Bay Centre. This precious time is known as golden hour. I asked Grace to sit down for part of golden hour and we grabbed her flowers and books to create amazing photos!! Her photoshoot felt very ethereal and whimsical, which complimented her personality so well.

After her photoshoot was over, Grace expressed to me she had the best experience having her senior photos taken by me. She felt extremely comfortable and truly loved the photos we were able to capture during her cap and gown photoshoot. As a senior photographer, this made my heart so happy to hear because I truly want my seniors to feel this way coming out of their senior photoshoot experience!
